There are many forests in Sri Lanka. The forests are very important to our lives. Because it helps to clean the air. Trees need CO2 for its personas a result of it produce O2. So to all animal especial oxygen produce by trees.
The man gets many chances from the jungles. In Jungles there very import trees. They are needed to build houses for furniture. As well as there are herbs for producing medicine. In the ancient time our village doctors used these in sinhala consultation.
Some people live by cutting timbers for making furniture and getting fuels. Some factories are started from timbers as fuel. As a consequence of that our forest are being destroyed. Because of this water springs are being dried up. This is a great problem for farmers in forming. Day by day, it has turned in serer.
Our voluble animals such as elephants, leopards, lion, bears, lived in forest in Sri Lanka .Are beautiful birds and wild flower could be cane in forest here because of destroying jungle we lost lions some birds migrated to other countries there fore the beauty of the forest lost. After destroying jungle when it rain drops the rain to the earth directly it causes to soil erosion.
According to my convenience we must protect our forests. Other wise it will be a threaten to our younger generation.

                       Bordering the yala national park to the east is the well-known bird sanctuary, kumana,As you approach kumana you hear  a rather noisy invitation thousands of birds calling one another. Here a large variety of indigenous aquatic birds gather from April  to July making kumana a bird watcher’s paradise there are herons, Starks, egrets and spoonbills, nesting in the trees above. Water hens purple coot and jacana build their nests in the swamp below.

Hanwella is a village on the route to the hill country. It is situated by the kelani Ganga about 45 kilometers from Colombo. It was once a Portuguese fortress. After the Portuguese come to Sri Lanka in the early year of the 15th century Hanwella become and important place. It was on the route of armies both local and foreign .cams were set up there in times of war between the Sinhala kings and Portuguese. It is about 170K.M  frome Colombo.This Park is situated between Kolambagrara and Embilipitiya.The udawalawa Wildlife Park has been was opened 1960 by Dadli Senanayaka. It is belongs to the Dry zone of the country there are Elephant, deere,sambon,rabbits,bear,wild bore,tigers,peacock,hawk,pheasant,pythans and many other animals birds, snakes and insects endemic to Sri Lanka.

                                              Last week we went to a four day trip last Saturday early in the morning. We setup journal from Balangoda at first we went to Colombo and visited zoo,harbour,planatariam,kurunagala air port  after that we went to Kandy via kurunagala at Kandy at first we went to the  temple of the tooth relic and did religious observances after that we went to see peradeniya botanical garden  and we stayed the night in Kandy on the following day we went to Anuradhapura on the way we went to see Sigiriya,dambulla rock temple at Anuradhapura we vestured    eight sacred places that night  we append in a pilgrims rest next day we went that night we append in a pilgrims rest next day we went  to polonnaruwa we saw ancient ruins, moon stones,excliption and large stales that night we stayed at polonnaruwa on the following day we came home late in the evening.

A part from the knowledge we get book. We can get a good knowledge from games and in the playing field. The book learning can make you an engineer, a doctor. A teacher and any person. But we must forget that we live in a society in a social life we have to face victories, and losses to get leadership and physical fitness.
Let’s take one game cricket eleven players will have to play under a one captain. There are rules in this game. We must work on co-operation to win the games. If not we have to get the loss. We have to o bay the two umpires. This helps us to o bay the rules and regulations in our later life. If co—operations is there success is at hand captain can lead the team.
Think of the three forces in our country. All the chief posts held by real sport men and sport women not only school going children but also the adults needs sports or physical exercises. These exercises keep our bodies fit.
Think of a bank or a government office. In a bank there is a manager, he has responsibility and the management may have got these qualities in the playing field other wise junior officers will try to disrespect him and neglect their duties. The general public will fall in to a trouble.
I think the experience he has got in the playing field may have brought to that level of work.

                                         The government has set up a separate department inoder to protect our jungle resources. The department alone cannot stop the feeling of trees. Every body should extend his or her ca-apparition deportment in this connection.The extent of forest caver in Sri Lanka has been reduced drastically during the post decades. This satiation has been arisen due to several rear sons east stretches of jungles are clean for development projects some forest re servers have became barren lands due illegal felling of trees. As a result of this almost all the water fountains have been dried up. Re-apparition programmers are implemented by the forest conservation department annually with the assistance of several man governmental organizations various kinds of plants are distributed free of charge seminars and work shops are conducted   a forest conservation.

                     We should realize at lens now the value of trees try to preserve them.

Trees are an intelligent part of our environment. Both man and the animals can not survive without trees. We get food, medicine, wood, and shelter from trees. Trees make the environment beautiful. We get the rain because of the trees. Trees have a great influence to the climate. Trees preserve moisture. The leaves of a tree are always giving off moisture and this constant evaporation cools the surrounding at masher. A tree at hill sides stop the soil erosion and prevent fertility of the soil becomes a fertile because of the trees.
We know that plants existed on earth before human beings. This fact proves that trees do not need man for their existence, but man cannot exist without trees.
Trees produce oxygen and purify the air by taking in carbon dioxide and giving out oxygen. Some people have not valued the value of trees. They cut down trees, but we should plant another tree in that place. If we cut down trees in this manner, our country will become a desert before long.
