                                         The government has set up a separate department inoder to protect our jungle resources. The department alone cannot stop the feeling of trees. Every body should extend his or her ca-apparition deportment in this connection.The extent of forest caver in Sri Lanka has been reduced drastically during the post decades. This satiation has been arisen due to several rear sons east stretches of jungles are clean for development projects some forest re servers have became barren lands due illegal felling of trees. As a result of this almost all the water fountains have been dried up. Re-apparition programmers are implemented by the forest conservation department annually with the assistance of several man governmental organizations various kinds of plants are distributed free of charge seminars and work shops are conducted   a forest conservation.

                     We should realize at lens now the value of trees try to preserve them.

Value of Trees(part 1 )

Trees are an intelligent part of our environment. Both man and the animals can not survive without trees. We get food, medicine, wood, and shelter from trees. Trees make the environment beautiful. We get the rain because of the trees. Trees have a great influence to the climate. Trees preserve moisture. The leaves of a tree are always giving off moisture and this constant evaporation cools the surrounding at masher. A tree at hill sides stop the soil erosion and prevent fertility of the soil becomes a fertile because of the trees.
We know that plants existed on earth before human beings. This fact proves that trees do not need man for their existence, but man cannot exist without trees.
Trees produce oxygen and purify the air by taking in carbon dioxide and giving out oxygen. Some people have not valued the value of trees. They cut down trees, but we should plant another tree in that place. If we cut down trees in this manner, our country will become a desert before long.

Environment pollution

Environmental pollution is dirtying the environment. Environment means our surrounding as well as the air we breathe. People dirt their homes and surroundings by throwing rubbish or garbage every where. We know dirt attracts flies and flies carry germs and cause diseases. Even people who have farms divert the water from their cattle sheds to public drains and streams causing pollution. Industries are also greatly Responsible for pollution the air as well as the surroundings. The chemicals Used in these industries create poisonous gases. These poisonous goes are carried in to the air. This polluted air is unfit fir people to breath. Not only that the waste matter in these factories run in to streams and public drains. This water even causes the death of innocent insects.
Sometimes insecticides and weedicides are used carelessly. The water in these fields flow in to streams villagers uses this water for various purposes. This water can create various problems. Ever the rain these days is polluted with acids. These acids cause corrosion. Some times dead animals are allowed to rot. This is the careless of the people
we must always remember to keep our houses and surrounding clean. We must put garbage in to the dust bins and keep them closed. We can either burry them are burn them. Owners of the Indus tries must see that water flowers though under ground pies. High building Also help to some extant strict laws must be laid dawn to stop pollution and people who cause pollution must find or punished other wise a weak unhealthy nation.

MY PET DOG

    My pet is a dog. Taffy is its name. It is white in color and its tail is short, bushy and beautiful. There are many kinds of dogs in the world. They are Alsatian, Pomeranian, Bull-dog, Great-Dane, Bull-Mastiff, and Collier and so on. Some of these kinds are very rear and very expensive, while some are very difficult to bring up. They are like children and fall ill constantly.
                                      Dogs are of different size some are big some are small, some are tall some are short and some are bow legged.
                                        Dogs are very faithful; in fact they are better than human beings. Some times when a dog sees its master it wags it’s tail and goes forward to greet him. They like to eat meat but they eat rice, bread and so on.
                                     Taffy’s favorite foods are fish, meat and milk. It’s always playful and active. I love it very much.
