03. Anuradhapura

                        Anuradhapura is an ancient city in Sri Lanka. It is the capital city of North Central province. Anuradhapura has a long history. King Devanampiyathissa was one of the kings who lived in this city and in addition many other kings lived and ruled the country using Anuradhapura as their capital city of their kingdom.                                  

                                           Anuradhapura is very famous for its ancient ruins and in addition there are the sacred Bo-tree, great “sputa”, moon stones, brazen palace and many irrigation tanks. This area has a tropical climate and therefore this is a good agricultural country.

02. Sri Padaya(Adams park)

                         Sri pada is a situated in sabaragamuva province. It is world famous religious place.Becouse Buddhist people believe the loved Buddha’s foot print is set on the summit Christians believe abode was there. There for thousand of pilgrims visit famous mountain in every year.
                                  There is a long walk the to summit. It is a happy journey. People climb of the mountain reciting stanzas. A was we can’t visit it in every time.Becouse there is a pilgrims season the pilgrims season in December to May. Many visitors go there to see the magahificent view of the rising sun.

Ancient Place in Sri Lanka-01.Sigiriya

                           Sigiriya is an ancient place in Sri Lanka.It is situated in Matale district and 14 kilometers of Dabulla.Visiters go there everyday to climb the long rock.Becoues there are interesting rains. This rock is very steep an is about 600 feet in height. I was  once  the for tress of a king  of Ceylon who built  a city around it  and ruled  from  there for  18  years. That the king was kasyapa.
                                           On the summit we can see ruins of palace ponds in addition. We can see the Mirror wall and world famous frescoes.
